Neurologic Music Therapy

image description

Music affects the way we move, communicate, and even process thoughts. The unique way that we experience and process music on a neurological level carries great potential for learning, re-learning, cuing, and shaping our cognitive, sensory, and motor abilities. Neurologic Music Therapy is the therapeutic application of music to address functional outcomes. Sessions are often part of co-treatment with physical, occupational, or speech therapy.
